Common Thread Group - November 5th

Our November 5th meeting will be back in the Greenwood Room due to previous commitments by the church. We will begin at 7pm with a short meditation, as usual, followed by short announcements. Those of you who have announcements, please have materials available with information by the door that you can briefly refer to as being available. This way, we don't have to take valuable time away from our speakers. This month we are blessed to have Robert Waggoner who will speak to us about:

Using Dreams and Lucid Dreams to Access Our Greatest Potential

Since recorded history, dreams have informed, guided and mystified mankind. With dream accounts of precognition, telepathy, spiritual encounters and interactions with the deceased, dreams have naturally suggested a more complex view of reality. In this session, you will learn how to use dreams to move towards your greatest potential, and how some dreamers are becoming lucid or consciously aware while in the dream state. Please bring your stories to share of amazing dreams that gave you insight, emotional and physical healing and news of events to come!

Our presenter: Robert Waggoner is President of the International Association for the Study of Dreams (IASD) and author of the new book, Lucid Dreaming: Gateway to the Inner Self. A summa cum laude graduate of Drake University with a degree in psychology, he is co-editor of the online journal, The Lucid Dream Exchange, the only ongoing publication devoted specifically to lucid dreaming. Robert frequently speaks on lucid dreaming at national and international dream conferences, workshops and college classrooms (for example, Sonoma State University, Iowa State University and Evergreen State College), as well as various radio shows, like Iowa Public Radio.
